I love this portafilter. It looks really nice and has a great feel to it. It's on the heavier side, so if you're looking for something light weight, this isn't the best option. I have the whole astra collection from mhw-3bomber so my whole setup matches. Pair this with the 3bomber bep basket and the puck screen and you'll have great espresso.

Fits Breville machines, basket is high quality, and is overall a beautiful product! The normcore portafilter tabs were significantly thicker and made it harder to use on my machine (Breville infuser)

The portafilter is nicely made for the value. However, had to return due to it not fitting my e61 ECM Synchronika since the “ears†are slightly thicker than oem. Would buy again if they fixed it to fit.

Didn’t like the fit of it in the group head. It is made well but unnecessarily heavy. It does bring considerable difference in extraction.

To level set this review--I have an extremely entry-level Delonghi machine which was actually an upgrade for me from a Mr. Coffee maker I got at a thrift store. I'm not an espresso connoisseur by any means. If you're interested in the views of someone with more experience, this isn't the one to read. If you're just an average person looking for an average person's opinions, this is for you.I originally selected this because my Mr. Coffee was a 51mm and I figured this would fit, but the ears were in the wrong place. My goal with all my espresso picks on Vine is to upgrade a bare minimum machine and try to get the best results from it as possible. I got a deal on the Delonghi (I like buying the returns on here since they can be 100s cheaper) so I decided to upgrade.The first shot I did on my Delonghi I used this portafilter. I have a spring-loaded tamper by this same brand, use a basic grinder and have some in house roasted coffee beans from a local shop. The shot tasted really good! I add a tbsp of dark brown sugar and use regular milk for my lattes. For my next latte, I switched to the Delonghi standard portafilter and it was NOTICEABLY worse. I genuinely expected it to taste the same to me and was shocked when it actually tasted a lot more bland and watery than my first shot done with this portafilter. I came into this doubting it would matter and was proved completely wrong.As an aside, using this portafilter with the Delonghi is so much easier--the standard portafilter that comes with the machine is really hard for me to turn and close completely. I like the handle on this one as it's longer and allows some more leverage for me to close it, and it turns smoother than the standard one.The first time I used this portafilter I did have spread occurring around the edges (not a single drip point in the middle) since I didn't distribute well. The second time, I worked harder to make sure that the grind was better distributed. I succeeded and it converged onto that single drip which was satisfying. Honestly for the noticeable difference in taste I will keep using it moving forward.In summary: if you want to upgrade your cheap machine and get good flavor from your espresso, this does the trick and has proved it to me! From my view as an average user, it is a little expensive. Look at it this way though: if the cost of this plus a cheaper espresso machine is less than the total cost of the next-tier espresso machine you're looking at, it could be worth it for you. For advanced users, if you're into getting the best from your beans, it seems a bottomless portafilter can help!

It fits perfectly on the Breville Barista Pro, ensuring a secure connection and good performance. The naked design not only looks sleek but also helps improve extraction Cleaning is really breeze, thanks to its simple design and electroplating. All I do is rinse. My other portafilters require me to scrub out all the grounds. Overall, it’s an excellent choice. I think MHW-Bomber is now my favorite espresso tools brand. Can’t wait to see what they bring out next!
