This blanket was exactly what I expected (and hoped for). The sherpa side is very cozy, and the opposite side is very silky. Both sides are quite soft. This makes a good blanket both for lying on outside and for keeping warm underneath.

Thought it was going to be heavier/thicker....it was not. It was a gift, I wasn't embarrassed or anything, but I would had not purchased if I had seen in person first and now that I know the quality, would not order for myself.
