This is a well made hammer. The metal used is hard enough to actually use properly. I used the round side to round off the faces of some metal fasteners. If this was made out of soft metal, I would have done more damage to the hammer than I would have to the fasteners. I don't have an English wheel (and also have never used one, so I'd probably just break my fingers on one), so I use ball peen hammers and an anvil to turn old license plates into fenders for my home made minibikes. This fulfilled that task perfectly. I have used this quite a bit, and it is still in great shape. I'm quite happy with it.

This is a serious ball peen hammer with a long handle and serious mass at the head. It is well built and has a weight forward feel to it. It will take effort to move this hammer up but on delivery it’s mass will deliver big force. Due to it’s massive build and obvious quality, this hammer rates 5 stars. Just know, it is a long and heavy hammer.
