This is a nice size for floors, the pads fit snuggly & are a good thickness; only drawback is it just pushes the dirt around & you would need a dustpan to finish your cleaning.I sprayed water lightly on my pad, then swept the floor, then just shook the pad outside instead of having to use a dustpan.The hair scraper works nice.Overall it's not bad.

The middle section of the handle will not screw in properly.....it keeps turning and never catches. So, it makes it pretty difficult to use. I am pleased, though, with the size of the cleaning pads, their quality, and that it comes with one already on the mop head and four extras! If I can figure out how to keep the middle section of the handle from constantly popping out, I know I'll love mopping with it.

It's the best thing for hard floors with finish. 40x21 is a good mop size.
