We already own one set of these and wanted extras. The egg cookers are the same as the originals. The only difference is the instruction/recipe book. The original had a glossy booklet with many recipes; this shipment only had one piece of paper with instructions and the basic sandwich recipe.These work best if you break and stir the yolk just a bit to avoid popping. We use a small silicone spatula to help remove the egg after cooking as it will not just slide out.Overall much more convenient than cooking one egg on the stove, and it comes out the perfect shape and size for breakfast sandwiches.

Easy to make egg sandwich, works better putting a little butter in the bottom, works better beating the egg in a bowl and then putting it in the bottom than beating the egg in the bottom

I use a little bit of pam and eggs release easier. Fast cooking and i use low power.

If I mix the egg together it cooks fine but if I try to leave the yolk intact the bottom has uncooked egg whites. The only solution is to cook it more but that defeats the purpose of me keeping the yolk Intact because it becomes closer to a hard boiled egg at that point.

I had bought For eggs Benedict but the egg is much larger than the muffin but that’s OK. It just looks a little weird lol but it’s perfect for say a breakfast sandwich on toast or croissant biscuit would be a little big combo would still be good for it. Definitely worth the money.
