The ONLY con I can think of is if you’re trying to make a large portion of pasta. Even so, you can still use it more than once if you want a bunch of pasta. But for me personally I usually only make it for myself, so it’s great.Super easy to use, the pasta comes out perfectly, and it’s so much faster than having to boil water. The fact That it comes with a built in strainer makes it even more perfect.Super easy to clean too, just clean it in the sink with soap and water.I highly recommend this for anyone who eats pasta a lot.

Very good... I also use it for my udon noodle too work just fine. Dishwasher safe is a plus.

The directions are great and it works perfectly in my microwave. I find it to be easier than the old fashioned way and I don't have to break the pasta'

I use this mostly when I've had a long, busy day and need a quick dish for dinner. Pop this in the microwave with salty water and pasta of my choice, within 15 minutes, I've made a nice pasta dish, whipped up a quick sauce for it and I'm good to go.

I bought one to test. As empty nesters, my husband and I make 3 or 4 servings of noodles (some for left overs) and I hate getting the big pan out, and I hate scraping all the stuff out of the pan afterwards. This is quick and easy, cooks faster than on a stove top, then pop it in the dishwasher (or just rinse thoroughly) and all done! I bought one for each of my 5 kids for Christmas!

This is the best way to make pasta. I bought it for my son’s college dorm when he starts this Fall but we opened it early to try it out. It cooks the pasta faster than on the stovetop. I find myself using it more often at home. I may need to purchase another one for him to take to school.

I wanted to use this in our RV. I followed the directions and the noodles were a bit softer than I prefer and they were clumped together near the bottom. I separated them with two forks and that worked pretty easily. I will use it again and cut the cook time down by 2 mins and see if I can get al dente. Easy to clean and I was impressed by how easy it was to drain the water.
