Update to original review:These mitts, and the company behind them, are nothing short of amazing. Sadly, my condition has worsened in the last 8 months, and I now rely on these mitts at least 4 x a week. Recently we traveled out of state to a hospital, and stayed in a motel with an old, sub-par microwave. I had a terrible attack while there, and my son tried frantically to heat the mitts, which resulted in the old hotel microwave blowing up one of the mitts. I rely heavily on these , and was going to order another pair right away, but decided to contact the company first by email. I got a reply right away from James Anderson, saying that they are sending replacement bean bags right away. So kind and amazing to find a company that stands behind their product after 11 months, even with damage caused by machine/ human error. Please don't hesitate to order from this company. The mitts are big, soft, heat perfectly and provide heavenly pain relief. A huge thank you to PhysioNatural!Due to an autoimmune disorder I often experience severe pain in my hands. These mitts, are the best invention since sliced bread! I pop them in the microwave for about 3 minutes (i place them standing on their sides, facing each other, for more even heating) then grab them , sit in a comfy chair, pop them on and bask in soothing moist heat. They're large, they're soft, the scent is light, not overpowering, and the beads stay warm for a long time, and I like the weight- very soothing. They stay warm long enough to delegate dish washing or other chores to someone else. Simply hold up your mittened hands and say sonething like, "I'd wash the dishes, but my hands hurt, so would you do it? " Almost forgot to mention that there was a tiny gift card inside the box with a code & an email address to redeem it. I did so, and they sent me a lovely email saying my gift was forthcoming. I received a surprise soft, blue, heatable eye mask! Can't say enough good things about this company and their products.

Just received these so only used a few times. So far they are just what I need for overworked, sore hands. You can control the amount of heat and the moisture is very welcomed. the size is perfect for me and my wife!

I recommend these to anyone that suffers from hand pain. Well made and soft. Easy to use. Provide a warm, moist heat with some weight. Heating pads in the gloves are an excellent size, heated area covers my entire hand providing relief from finger tips to my wrist. When on there is some weight to the gloves and they shape to your hand. I recently had surgery on my hand which involved several procedures to multiple joints including a couple joint arthroplasties.During therapy at the Ortho clinic they use moist heated pads which feel great and help with stiffness after surgery, so as suggested by the Occupational therapist I was shown some versions I could buy for home use.I ordered the therapy mittens from PhysioNatural as their therapy mittens looked like a higher quality than the others I saw, and would be the best for what I needed. They are very nice. I was surprised that when heated, they give a moist heat which feels very nice on the hands. Even after my therapy sessions are finished I will continue to use them, as my hands are feeling soft and smooth after using these therapy mittens. I would highly recommend them for yourself or as a gift.

Loved this. I broke my hand and wrist and this was perfect. Better than heating pad.Just pob in microwave and put in on hand and it's heaven.

It is super hard to get these evenly heated, on the rare occasion that you do , they work fine, and provide relief. But be ready for super hot spots, completely cold spots, funky smells, crackling sounds, burns through the fabric, the pouches full of beads to slip around and fall out, and both mitts being two different temperatures no matter what you try.I have kept them on a plate as instructed, tried them side by side, on top of each other, with the turntable and without, and NOTHING makes these heat evenly. Also the time suggested at the wattage listed is a good way to light them on fire.Not happy at all with them, and to add another con to the list they weigh so much, it's painful to carry them around and deal with them when your hands are really hurting.I'd've them zero stars except for on the very rare occasion I can manage to get one of them heated up correctly, it does help.

I love doing yard work and working in my vegetable garden, but some days when I overdo it, I am bothered by pain resulting from the arthritis in both of my hands. I found these microwaveable hand therapy mittens on Amazon. I love them! The fabric covers are soft and plush like a fuzzy blanket and the flax seeds have a lavender scent when heated. The mittens contain removeable heat packs that look like bean bags, so you can remove them to wash the covers when needed. Very pleased with this purchase.
