I have a very hard time with jeans. My legs are short (even though I’m 5’6â€). I have an athletic build with thicker thighs (145 lbs). I have a long torso. These are absolutely perfect in length and fit (I ordered size S). They hit exactly where they should, just at my ankle. They aren’t too “barrelâ€, and the backside is so cute. I feel happy when I wear them.

I prefer a wide leg jean but wanted to try this style - im 5â€6 and a medium hits just above my ankle. Bought the taupe color and they are a true Jean material but super soft. At 138 lbs I could have probably fit into the small but prefer a more roomy and baggy fit and medium worked well. If you’re on the fence with these buy them! Super comfy, stylish and easy to dress up or down

i am 5 ft with waist of about 27in if measured loosely. the XS fit fine around the waist with a little room. They are definitely more like high rise jeans. The length fell to the lower ankle but is not too long especially when worn with shoes. These are like a softer jeans material. Not too stiff but not see through either. Overall pretty good.

After trying to decide for months if the barrel leg jean would be right for me, I chose this pair. They unfortunately ended up being a no, but here were the pros and cons.Pros: I obviously didn't wear these beyond trying them on for a few minutes, but I was surprised by how denim-like these felt. They aren't 98-100% cotton by any means, though they had that nice, structured feel of pure denim. I think they'd wash up pretty well. They also didn't have a nasty chemical smell, which is a feature of so many jeans--cheap and expensive--nowadays! That said, the front button was a bit flimsy.Cons: I had a feeling that barrel jeans would be a lot like rompers; it's 50/50 if your body proportions will fit. I'm a "long-legged" 5'3, I have an apple shape, and have average size thighs and bum. Due to my apple belly I opt for high rise pants so I can hit my true waist that's above my belly button and not feel squeezed all day. The strange thing was that these pants gave me a huge bum wedgie, which is something I never experience. Not sure if that's common with this style jean, but I was not a fan.I also think at 5'3 I'm not really tall enough for them. If I had to guess these pants would look best on people who are 5'5-5'8. But it's not just the height. The barreling of the jean also needs to hit the right part of your leg. Too high and they'd have a WW2 military jodhpurs vibe (yikes) and too low would make it look like you have smaller thighs and very beefy calves.Hmm, the more I write about these pants the more I think they're a style that probably looks best photographed but are just off in-person and in-motion unless you're that rare unicorn. Basically, if you've been eying this style I'd suggest trying them out, but don't be surprised if they aren't your holy grail denim.

These are my favorite pants. The fabric is soft and good quality. The style is cute, and they fit me perfectly. I recommend buying size up.

Awkward fit, waist too small for my mom pooch, no stretch in the waist - looked terrible on me. These are made for thinner women - plus size gals be warned. I am plus size and love the wide leg on these but….NO.

I LOVE these pants, they fit great and sit well, super flattering. My only complaint is that my zipper is just slightly off center, and it makes one of the pockets sit weird. You get what you pay for, but not a deal breaker.

Love these jeans!! I just ordered two more pairs in different colours. They are pretty much identical to FP barrel jeans, perhaps a tad higher in the waist. They fit me perfectly. They are true jeans material and super flattering. I’m 5’4†135-140lbs for reference, I ordered large based on reviews.*Update*I just received the Blue Tides ones, and they are actually a tad larger then Archive Grey, the fit is baggier and there is a noticeable size difference when comparing the two. I will to see how Medium Blue fits when it arrives, I’m hoping it is more like Archive Grey.

I’ve been shopping for straight leg jeans for a while - I’m so happy with these! They fit well on the bum and waist but the bigger sizes are made small. I’m usually an XL and got XXL for a baggier waist fit but these just button up. XL would have been way too small. Beware on the pale style, the bleach-looking splashes are on the back too and show more than they do on the picture so these are a very casual style. I ordered another colour to be able to dress them up more.
