This is my second product from this company, both have performed exactly as expected with a minimum of fuss. Solidly made and attractive.I should note, however, that I’m only using it to combine the outputs of two foot controllers, not playing a keyboard, so I don’t have a very demanding use case.Also it’s worth mentioning that you can’t use just any old 5v power supply, such as a cheapo phone charger, the specs say the device requires a 1-amp supply. I tried the cheap power source route on the other DoRemidi device I have, a hosting box, and it didn’t work at all.But with the proper supply, for my purposes these devices are excellent.

I tested this with 2 midi keyboard controllers. On one I set up the arpeggiator to send as many notes as possible. On the other controller I played vigorously to see if I could trip it up. It never once messed up with stuck notes or any notes dropped. It appears it can handle anything thrown at it. I leave it on continuously. It stays cool to the touch.and draws very little power - about a 1/2 watt I think. So it's been running for weeks now.

I have used a LOT of DOREMiDi products (Midi mergers, thru boxes, etc ) in my studio and I find that they are not only a great deal as compared to other similar manufacturers' products, they work flawlessly. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any quality studio- high end or garage band...they just WORK and do it well.Kudos to DOREMiDi for a great product line

Easy, plug & play connections between my pedals & controller (lower keyboard) to my Hammond!! Gets power from the Hammond too, so no power supply is needed. Very happy with it’s performance.

Connected a the midi output of a digital piano and another controller with assignable knobs to this and fed a single midi output to my interface to control Korg Gadget with the piano plus the knobs. Works well! Saved me money.

I had hoped to use this product to merge data from a Roland AX-1 with data from a MIDI breath controller. However, in my initial testing, I didn't get a chance to try to merge data because it wouldn't even reliably pass the data from the Roland controller alone. Some notes wouldn't play, some notes would stick. It seemed totally random. I tried two different power supplies. I have reached out to the company and I will let you know what happens.Update 10/2/24. Seller responded to my email and, after inquiring about my setup, sent me a firmware update. All is well and I have revised my rating to 5 stars, based upon the manufacturer's responsiveness.

I purchased the DoreMidi Merger to allow for multiple midi input from both a controller and a midi switch board out to my iRig. The Midi switch controller had an out, but the delay was far to great to make it useful so this was a fantastic solution to the problem.
