Works great! Comes with extra batteries. We'll worth the money.

I like the idea but I've since learned that laser lights are hard to see in daylight.

Using this I quickly got the rifle on paper within 1.5†at 100 yards with the first shot.

The dot was about 3’ below the target. We set the new scope to the dot and could determine where the rounds were hitting. We re-zerored the scope to the factory settings then only needed about 15 clicks at 50yrds to be spot on in the center of the target.

Works as intended, which is to get your first shots on the target so you can zero in your scope. The green laser dot was bright and easy to see and was several inches below the point of aim, but close enough to allow adjustments to the scope. The laser chambered easily in the .243 and is all brass so as not to cause damage. It uses 3 batteries and comes with a total of 12. There is no on-off switch but by unscrewing it a few turns, it will go out. Always remove the batteries before storage.

I took a chance and assumed it was sized for the 308 case and not the bullet diameter from looking at the pictures. I was right. So you can use this for other 308 Remington case derivatives like the 260 Remington. I did not try it in the 22-250 but I am guessing it will work there also. The green laser is highly visible. I tried it outside and even on tree bark it was easy to see out past 100 yards when looking through a scope.I first checked my zero on a combination that was already zeroed. It was off by about 2 inches at 50 yards and 4" at 100. This is fine for getting your scope on paper. I usually use a 1 shot zero method, but this should reduce that movement considerably. So now I mounted a new scope and set it for the same relative location off by 2" at 50 yards. I am planning to take it to the range this weekend but feel it should get me close and I can tune it for my particular handloads.I will say this is better than the muzzle bore lasers I have tried which vary by position a lot. I chambered this laser multiple times and it was fairly consistent in finding the same location repeatedly. It's not perfect, but I have yet to find a boresighter that is. A laser is still better than trying to sight down the length of the bore by looking through the end on a bolt action.I like the solid brass design and the fact that it comes with 4 sets of batteries.I noticed it is no longer being offered, so it is hard to recommend it. Guessing service would be a challenge if needed.
