The snips come extremely sharp new. They have a great design for cutting really small material. The other brands may have fancy grips or latches but these are a superior tool.

This is an excellent cutter and easy to manipulate, but I bought it because I wanted something with a smooth edge. These are serrated. The serrations are very fine, and I'm able to file them off with my dremel, but the whole point was to have an edge that required minimal post-cutting refinement. So these work exactly as intended and are very sharp and easy to use (if you know what you're doing), but despite comments from other reviewers to the contrary, these most definitely leave a finely serrated edge on whatever you cut. (Just wanted to clear that up.) Otherwise an excellent product that I highly recommend.

Midwest are top grade professional snips.These were put to test on Commercial Job site by professional Commercial Carpenters cutting 362vs125-20 Cemco steel studs.Work excellent.One thing I recommend is putting JB weld or lock tight on screw that holds spring..They tend to loosen with use.

Decent straight cut snips but I ended up giving away the Left and Right ones because they don’t have much of an angle to allow me to make good cuts without it being a struggle. They’re sharp but they sometimes don’t grab right and end up just folding the piece of metal over.

As a ceiling fixer and dryliner, I've used them all.... Wiss, Milwaukee, Stanley, DeWalt, etc. These beat them all. Superb quality. 👌

Umm, its better then Titan snips thats for sure, better than new M1X Wiss snips, but not better than M1 Wiss snips which they dont make anymore, thats a loss on Wiss part.Overall I would recommend them ðŸ‘, but there might be some better ones out there. I might give a shot to Malco snips, we'll see.
