Nice can but I didn’t realize that kerosene is now sold primarily in one gallon or 2 1/2 gal cans off the shelf. Most gas stations no longer have a kerosene pump or sell in bulk. If you prefer a 5 gal can this is a good one.

While this is a quality USA made product, it can't be used with a siphon pump. Not useful for an inside kerosene heater. I guess I will have to use a funnel. The safety is hard to use. Always take your heater outside to refill.

The only problem I have with this is the “leak proof” nozzle, it causes more leaking than the old ones. It’s not the fault of the manufacturer but the fault of the bureaucracy that forced us to have to use them.

This is a thick sturdy container. I like the placement of the handles. There is a nice flat area behind the top handle to install a EZ Pour vent. The plastic guard in the filler is easy to remove by twisting it with vise grips and addition of an EZ Pour spout makes this a great can for storing and pouring kerosene for my barn heater. The EPA regs mean that the original spout is worthless and hard to use, but the bare bones of a decent fuel container are there, and just waiting to be improved. The mods take about 10 minutes.
