This vacuum makes me angry...angry at every other vacuum I wasted my money on in the past. It is vastly superior in design and construction quality to anything I've owned before.I purchased the Miele used on Amazon. It was advertised as very good condition, but it was indistinguishable from brand new. This was a very pleasant surprise after a recent experience purchasing a "like new" rainbow vacuum that arrived filthy.Pros:--Very strong suction--Shockingly quiet...mind bogglingly so given the power--Rolls behind you so easily it almost seems like a little robot following you--Super convenient tool storage on board--Easy to carry with the handle--adjustable length tube in the power brush is really nice--Power brush is very maneuverableCons:--The turbo upholstery brush shown in the pictures is not included (extra $70)--They don't make a motorized upholstery brush for this model. The turbo brush which you can buy separately is air-powered. Usually those are worthless but I'm hoping Miele worked the same magic with the turbo brush as they did on the vacuum (just ordered mine). In summary, this thing is amazing. The price is high but you do actually get what you pay for in this case. It's still cheap compared to Rainbow for example, and SO superior in every way. I can't imagine anyone not loving this vacuum.

After 15ish years, I’ve retired my Miele Neptune to be the garage vacuum. Still works, it’s just beat up and doesn’t suck like it used to. I upgraded to this C3 with a power head. WOW! This new unit is SO QUIET in comparison to my Neptune and the power head is AMAZING. How quiet you ask? One of my dogs who is anti-vacuum, DIDN'T EVEN CARE! My Neptune, that head brush was powered by the suction. This C3 power head is just that, powered. A world of a difference!!! I’ve been using a little Shark vacuum for the past 6 months because the Neptune suction is meh now. I vacuumed yesterday with the Shark and again today as soon as the C3 arrived. GROSS! I. Filled. The. Bag. So disgusting. Few things I LOVE about Miele. It sucks everything off the baseboards with ease, like side suction. Also this C3, seems beefier then my old model, so that’s a plus. Few things I love about this model better then the old one, the hose is longer AND the cord is longer. That was the only downside to my Neptune, cord was annoying short. C3 is a good length! I swear by these vacuums, they’re worth every penny. I knew this $1,700 package would eventually go on sale somewhere, and it did! Got it for $1,075. WIN!! Here’s to another glorious 15 years of vacuuming. lol. Oh, and worth noting - I have dogs. Miele’s suck up alllllll the hair. Every last one. Even with all the dog hair, and using it a few times a week, still lasts 15+ years. IMO, hands down the best vacuum on the market. ðŸ‘ðŸ¼

It is pretty much a pleasure to use (for a vacuum!). The power head has settings for depth, there is a switch on the handle for the power head, the head itself is compact enough to get under my sofa and beds, it picks up very well and is moderately quiet. I got suckered into purchasing a Dyson before this and there is no comparison at all. The quality, ease of use, and maneuverability of the Meile leave the Dyson in the dust! :)My only con - so far - is that I would like it to have a longer cord. This is probably not a problem for most people (the cord is pretty long) but I live in a very old house and have to plug the vacuum in two rooms away in order not to blow circuits when I clean my living room. :/ It is heavy, but my very old Electrolux was the same way and it cleaned better than anything I've had in years - so I expect this Meile to hold up forever!

This is the best vacuumed that I’ve had in my forty married years! For now, I mainly have bare floors and mostly use the parquet floor brush. The brush swivels nicely and I am able to maneuver it to get under low pieces of furniture. The cord is of a nice long length and I absolutely love its strong retractability with one push of a button with my foot. The vacuum rolls around easily wherever I go, and it is nice and light. I do use the power head to get into deep crevice mats with the rotary brush and am able to adjust the height and get get great suction if needed, since it is adjustable. I use the brush attachment to dust baseboard and blinds. The attachments also store inside the unit. No more vacuum cleaner pieces sit in a bag hangIng inside my closet to take up extra awkward space, and the vacuum itself can stand on its side to also take up less space. Out of any vacuum that I have ever owned, this one is the quietest. The days of emptying bag less vacuum s and cleaning their filters are over.
