I took advantage of Amazon Prime Day and scored this beautiful stainless steel flatware set. The set I have used for many years set was already "vintage" when I acquired it. Now its just old.When I saw this on Prime Day I decided it was finally time to replace it. The pattern is called Bravo (by Mikasa) and its very simple, which is always my preference. What a difference - I am so happy with it! Even though the pattern is simple, it has a gentle ridge around the bottom of each piece that looks very graceful and shows off the high shine finish.I'm also very pleased with the serving pieces that come with it: a large serving fork, two large serving spoons (one pierced), a butter knife, and a condiment spoon.This will be a nice alternative to hauling out my sterling (which is always in need of polishing) for a nice family dinner. Its very dressy looking.If you are considering a new stainless steel flatware set I highly recommend Bravo by Mikasa!

I purchased this set to be used as our nice set of silverware, to be used on special occasions like Thanksgiving and Christmas meals.I like the look and feel of this Mikasa Bravo Stainless Steel Flatware Set. They are shiny, and a little larger and heavier than standard flatware sets I have seen and used, and seem to be of good quality.I opened them up a box at a time and washed them in our automatic dishwasher. They were washed in separate loads. Each time, I noticed that they had water stains. I want to note that we have a water softener system, and we use name brand detergent and we use mostly a generic Rinse Aid.The stains did wipe off when I use a towel, but it was a bit of a hassle having to do. Unfortunately, it''s too late to return b/c I threw out the packaging and washed them all one time so they are ready to be used whenever we decide to do so.

Este juego de cubiertos es hermoso. Las piezas bastante grandes sin ser incómodas, y de buen peso y equilibrio. Buscaba algo que armonizara con mi vajilla artesanal de cerámica de alta temperatura, cuyas piezas son grandes y pesadas, y estos cubiertos le van perfectamente: al ser de diseño sencillo no chocan con la decoración de la vajilla, y el tamaño grande hace que no se pierda el cubierto junto al plato.
