I bought these for mounting my Milwaukee M12 tools onto mounts since I have metal cabinets and slat wall. These magnets are great for holding my tools in place with falling. Very strong and good size for fitting those disconnecting tool mounts.

These magnets are really strong for such a small magnet. I used to keep my steel gate from blowing up in wind storms. Keep gate closed even in 40 mph winds, yet easy to open gate.

Not sure any of these are as strong as claimed unless perhaps under ideal conditions,,,, but still impressively strong compared to a normal magnet . For normal applications I use it for, maybe 1/2 as strong as advertised as with any magnet, with distance it gets exponentially weaker so put a piece of cardboard between much weaker 2 and it might slide down 3 and it might not stick noticeably at all but if there's nothing between and u have clean bare steal it's pretty strong. However often they are used to hold things like info boards pictures, tools and u place objects between. So if u are gluing these to a sign on back of magnet and front will be pressed to metal probly will work great, if u are pinching something between it and surface I would buy more than u think if it has to hold up weight. Say u glue and screw these into the bottom of a boot to hang your boots on metal wall. If u had 5/32 inch of rubber between it's pretty weak slide down the wall 1 wont hold 1/16th stronger, still probly slide down 1/32nd much stronger holds boot on wall (estimates)

I am happy with the strength of the magnets. So many times I have purchased "strong" magnets and end up with weak garbage. Not these they live up to the name. If the metal peice that comes with this set get stuck to the magnet it is hard to separate them. I would suggest you go with these!

Using them to hold the backers around my fireplace. Multiple uses and great for all of them. Can’t complaint. Need to get more for the top trim.

I used a few of these to attach pegboard to a metal cabinet. Excellent product for that use!

Needed some new magnets as the Displate magnets weren’t working with my wall boards. These have a really good hold for the metal posters and were really easy for me to install.
