I got these to cover boxes for stray cats. They are thin, but serve the purpose. Dryclean only.

These are, at best, military STYLE blankets. They have a VERY distinctive scent, that, while not a stink, perse, it is of a chemical nature and not pleasant. While they appear durable, their construction is more along the lines of packing blankets used for moving furniture and large appliances. There is also a warning that the blankets may contain lead. While they may be adequate for short term survival use, I would not recommend them for extended household use.

I took them right outside to hang on the clothes line. I had to hold my breath. I still smell it on me after going inside. My eyes are even burning. The tags say dry clean only so these should be wool but i doubt it. The smell is flame retardent which is not needed on wool. Do not wash these! Wool does not get washed. Im using these for sound deadening in my hobby shed. These are good for emergency blankets or for a base of your tent when camping but leave them hanging outside for a few days first. Update: So I left them out in the sun for a couple weeks. Only a small reduction in scent. They still irritate my skin and eyes. I hung them up in my radio shed and they did improve/reduce the echo that my ham radio picks up. Receiving operators noted no echo. If you want a wool camping blanket get a Pendelton or go to REI. Those are safe and enjoyable.

I purchased these to line the back of my curtains for my skoolie windows. They arrived timely. I am so pleased with this product! It sewed up nicely to my fabric. It has made a huge difference with keeping the hot/cold out of the skoolie. Color is as shown. I would order again.

Perfect for winter blackouts. Car blankets and will make a shelter if needed. Pepper must haves!
