I actually got this so that I could clip a cigarette lighter to my dog walking supplies. Sometimes, I like to have a bit of a smoke while I'm out and this way I won't ever lose it! It works well and does what I need it to.

This is a pretty good quality retracting tether. It’s very strong and durable.I haven’t had many problems with it. It seems to retract and deploy consistently.It’s pretty good for the price and I would recommend this purchase

Well built with 2 attachment options. The retracting mechanism has good tension, not too much but sufficient to hold a number of items.

the thread tends to stick when it's retracting but overall it does what you needed to do. I would change out the hardware on the end for something a lot more durable but I think the included molle mount is outstanding. I would use something like this on a belt as well. it comes with the belt clip installed by default. I'm using it to hold my pepper spray and my laser pointer. The shell itself is quite durable and I haven't had any issues with flex or breakage and I think this thing will last quite a while. seems to be a good quality plastic

Fantastic heavy duty retractable tether for just about anything you can think of. It can be attached to any molle equipped gear or if you want to wear it on your belt John will have to thread the belt through the mount which is not a bad thing because there is no way it's coming off unless it breaks. So if you're looking for a retractable tether for your gear you won't go wrong getting this one.

attaches to a belt great. the line does get loose quickly and starts to hang
