My dog has immensely sensitive feet, I've worked very hard with him on cooperative care to get him to the point where I could trim even one nail at a time, but other clippers tend to catch, snag, or need a ton of pressure to clip, and it freaks him out again.These don't do that, they're basically silent, they cut through his (very strong, very sensitive) nails like butter, this is the first time in the time I've had him that I've been able to finish every single nail on even one paw in one session, and he let me do BOTH of his front paws all at once. They're very sharp!These clippers literally saved me from having to have my poor pup sedated to have his nails done for health reasons, which was going to be the next step if these didn't work. I bought these for my Great Pyrenese who is a nightmare to trim his nails. I wanted a pair of sharp, sturdy and durable nail clippers to try and make the process easier. These worked amazingly well! He has very thick, strong nails and these cut through them like nothing. They are extremely sharp and easy to use. There only downside is the guard can get in the way while clipping and can be annoying, but it wasn't bad enough for me to take away a star. I definitely recommend these!

These clippers are great! They are lightweight and easy to handle, yet cut thick dog nails with ease. My one dog is very sensitive with nail trimmings and these have helped so much! They can sorta "shave" the nails down a little at a time without the hard "snap" of other clippers. I bought a 2nd set for backup just in case! Have been using them for a while. Very durable!

These are the best I ever used. And I have used a lot. I have a German shepherd. He is scared of the sound. As an older person it’s hard for me to squeeze the clippers now. They make very little noise. Very easy to squeeze. Also very sharp cut thick nails like butter. Only reason I took a star off was the red rubber falls off when you squeeze. I took the rubber off. Put pipe tape around it. Then put rubber back on. So far it’s working.

I’ve worked around animals my entire life. I’ve tried a lot of clippers and methods for distraction to make clippers work.. these clippers cut clean and fast. That’s the most important factor in trimming nails and training dogs to sit for this. Most clippers have a hesitation or “pinch†during clipping. These do not. It may not advertise for fancy features, but it works much better than any clippers that do. Dogs don’t need a light for finding the quick or catch guard, they simply want a quick and good experience when clipping nails.Great product and price! This is quality company that knows animals!

First use. very happy with the clippers, preformed better than expected. Have a large dog with hard thick nails which can be an event to trim every 2-3 weeks. While he is not a fan of nail trims these where sharp and effective. The closure mechanism did engage a couple times while in use but beyond that I am very happy with the clippers. Assuming your pet is comfortable with having their nails trimed you could get it done very quickly with these.

I have spent a fortune trying every different dog nail clipper there is and all of them seemed to tear at the nail or be dull and ultimately a complete waste of money.
