Sponge refill is designed for use with Miller's Creek Butterfly Mop. Scrubber strip offers more cleaning power. Sponge mopheads are easy to rinse and good for cleaning tile and other uneven surfaces. Sponge is made of absorbent polyester for a strong, durable approach to cleaning, especially when encountering harsher cleaning chemicals, oil and grease.

We have had this generic replacement sponge mop head for about 6 months now and found it to be holding up well and doing a great job of cleaning our floors. Upon receiving the mop head I found the holes did not line up exactly with our mop. Thankfully, I had read thru many of the reviews prior to ordering and found that others had the same issue and simply used an electric drill to drill the hole a bit larger to the one side so it would fit on their current mop. This very slight modification worked perfectly and we have now been using our new sponge head for over six months. Great value.

This refill fits my mop handle perfectly and it's much less costly than any other one available. I have an old, simple mop handle. Because of its small size it can go under the kitchen counters, where the new styles cannot. I purchased extra ones in case the company stops making them.

We finally found a mop head replacement for the Quickie butterfly mop. We only gave it 4 stars because it snaps in and the holes in the mop had to be enlarged slightly. I used a drill bit to open it. A file would probably also work.

I bought this because some reviews suggested it would fit my old Quickie mop. And dimensionally it would be a fine fit.But while the package describes the classic screw post and thumb nut mounting which would have worked fine, some genius in the company decided to save a few cents by replacing that with molded plastic press-fit posts with large retainer tips (see text vs reality in the photo). These posts do NOT fit into the mop’s head-mounting holes. Getting them to fit would require major enlarging of the holes and not give me any confidence it would securely hold the mop head.Since I really need a mop head I am considering cutting off the posts, drilling holes where they were, and using screws and thumb nuts from an old head. Or perhaps I should just return them.————Update: I did the following:0. Salvaged the thumb-nuts and screws (which needed pliers to unscrew) from an old mop head1. Cut off the posts from the new head, flush using an exacto knife2. Drilled out holes where the posts were3. Used an exacto knife to cut out small Xs in the sponge, so the screws could go through to the plastic board4. Pushed the screws through the sponge till they protruded from the drilled plastic5. Fastened to the mop with the thumb-nuts as usual

I ordered this sponge for an old mop that had been around but still worked. It is a butterfly squeeze mop. I measured the post hole on the mop and they were 61/2 inches apart and thanks to one of reviewers here I was able to find a mop refill that the posts on the sponge were the same width apart.. I got this product very fast an popped it in so easily to the Miller's Creek sponge mop I had and for the price I had an excellent tool for what I needed.
