I’m very pleased with the quality of these riding chaps! Soft and sturdy material while also being very comfortable. A heck of a good deal for the $price$ and a fantastic looking product. Definitely recommend looking at the sizing chart and consider getting a size bigger. I went with 3X after reading other reviews on sizing and glad I did!I definitely plan on being a repeat customer in the future!

I received my Chaps yesterday. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 200 pounds. My legs are skinny and measure 21 inches at the thigh. According to the chart, the medium size would fit. However, I read all the reviews of these running small, so I ordered the large size.The Chaps arrived, and I was pleased with how thick and heavy they were. The Chaps and zippers are of great quality, and I am sure they will last a long time.My problem was that my spindle legs still felt super tight even at one size larger, and I was wearing regular pants. I put on my motorcycle and Kevlar-lined jeans and could barely close the zippers. They were super tight, to the point of starting to be painful when bending my knees.So, back to Amazon, they go, and I already ordered the next size up, which is X-large.In summary: Great Chaps with a wrong sizing chart.

I really like these chaps. The leather feels nice and they fit great. But the first pair arrived and was missing a rivet in the belt. I sent them back in exchange for another pair and the second one arrived with the zipper coming unstitched. I would consider keeping them but both defects could wind up making the chaps unusable.

Item was received exceptionally fast and packed in WAY too big of a box.I measured my thigh with jeans on, then added two inches (measured 22", ordered Medium/24"). Item arrived and the leg could barely be zipped. I'm returning the item for a larger size.Waist measurement isn't critical, as the lacing in the back and the belt in the front allow for a wide range of adjustment. Length isn't critical unless you are very tall (I'm 6'1"), as the leg is left long with a rough edge that you can cut to size. The thigh is the critical measurement.I have skinny legs (tall slim build, 6'1", 190 lbs) that measured 22", the 24" was too tight and my replacement (not yet arrived) is a 26". That's 4" bigger than I measured.All of those sizing concerns aside, the leather, the stitching and the hardware all seemed to be good quality. I'm impressed with the product, just not the size chart. Oh, and the packaging was excessive (too much box for a smaller item). Now I'm off to hug a tree so I feel better.

They do the job. Cold mornings riding to work are no longer a problem. Legs don’t get cold at all.Quality is good and they are made of heavy leather.

Size runs tight get the next size up with thigh measurement. At least depending of waist measurement. Buffalo hide is the most durable of the leathers used for wearing. Quality is good!! I wear 36/30 and ordered a Med. my thigh measured 24. I returned it and ordered a XL. Fits great!!

Good heavy quality leather. Well made. Recipient reports that chaps are very comfortable and fit very well. Excited for bike season to start again!Bottom of chaps are unhemmed (as they should be) for length adjustment. They are also adjustable with a lace system at the back for expanding waistlines ( ;) )All in all a great purchase!Recommend!

There was lots of length in the legs, and trimming the excess lenght of the bottom was easy. I stuck with medium, being 5'7", 147 lbs, medium build, 30-31 inch waist. I might have gotten away with a small size, but I'm medium in most everything, so I stuck with that. There would be lots of length for someone taller with a slim build for sure. As the guide states, you would want to pay attention to the leg circumference more than anything. You can always trim off the excess leg length.

The sizing chart is pretty accurate. They fit nice and comfortable. Best chaps out there for the price without having to go to high priced Brand name chaps. Thick, supple leather, best road protection you can have.100% recommend these chaps!

Make sure le check the size chart. Im normaly size XL waist as per the chart. I needed 7XL to accomodate my legs size. Way too long leg but thats easy fixable by cutting the excess.Pretty happy so far
