Suddenly my NIU KQI2 scooter stopped while riding home and said error 3. After using the app found that it meant the accelerator was having issues. Was not sure what to do and googled and found Amazon had the part. Got this and it arrived quickly and I installed it and now it works perfectly again.For installing I took off the front panel (plastic and metal piece) on the front of the head unit (above light) and that exposes a hole. Using a knife I gently popped the plastic off the display (seems it is glued or stuck to it). The main display has like 3 small screws after that it came out and all the cables inside were just plug and play style. Found the one to the old throttle and unplugged it and pulled it out (take out the rubber cable plugger). You may have to cut the zip tie and take off the black thing covering all the cables. Once done I put it back and zip tied it back. Put the new throttle on and ran cable in. Once lined up with the hole on the front I pushed it through using a hex wrench (gently push; it does have to line up right). But once in pulled in some of the excess and plugged it in. It clips in easily. Put it back together (be sure to tighten the three screws holding the display board properly. If too loose the button won't work right. I put a small dab of glue on some parts of the plastic and pushed display back down (it was still pretty sticky). And put it all back together and all worked. Found some YouTube videos as well which are super useful! This saved my scooter!

Only took about 10 mins to install. I recommend tying a string to the old one as you pull it out so you can help guide the wire in for this one.

Loosening the four bolts makes it easier to remove the plastic cover. This accelerator appears like the original. Works great with no issues. Great value and easy to replace.

It’s about the same price but the funny thing is I contacted NIU’s customer support and ordered this at the same time. By the time they responded I had already received and installed the Amazon one 💀
