I received what appears to have been a returned item, as the bag containing the rods was ripped open, rather than sealed; there were a number of areas on the baskets where the paint was chipped off; and the threads in one end of one of the rods were bad, so that it was almost impossible to thread the screw in - my guess is that a prior purchaser had stripped the threads and decided to return the item.There is no stop to keep the shelves from falling out should you pull them forward a bit too far while accessing items stored on them.

I think some people review the wrong product.Ease of assembly - Five minutes with Swiss Army penknife. Parts fit perfectly, no rough screw threads.Sturdiness - Wobbly??? Just tighten the screws. No side movement, rubber feet stick good, trays slide easily, almost full extension, put my white lithium grease back in the tool box.Value for money - much better than plastic.Good product!!!

I saw a drying rack made especially for makeup brushes and the price was ridiculous. I figured surely something else could work and something else did! This wasn’t hard to put together, you’ll need a screwdriver, but it was simple and sturdy once all together and the screws tightened. I wash my brushes then load them up and place the rack in front of a fan to dry overnight. Normally I lay them flat on a towel and have to turn the brushes periodically so they fully dry but no extra effort was required. I could set my brushes and forget them! I’m pleased with my purchase :)
