I purchased this cushion along with the mat. The velvet is absolutely gorgeous and so soft. This cushion was much sturdier than expected and seems to have no problem supporting me no matter how long I'm on it. I am 5'8" and 250lbs and my hips and rear are not small by any definition. I fit very comfortably on this cushion. It can support me no matter what angle my hips are in and I never feel like I am going to fall or slide off. Get the cushion, you won't regret it. I will definitely be ordering more

It’s thick and has a solid weight. But I wish it could be bigger so that I could use it for back support. But overall the quality is good. So I bought another.

I ordered this meditation cushion to place on a yoga mat on my carpeted floor. I was nervous that it would be floppy, flimsy, or flat. Thankfully I took the chance!The cover feels so luxe and silky smooth. I love that it unzips for easy washing.It's firm but not overstuffed. The buckwheat filling is loose enough to contour to your body while offering excellent support. This cushion is a much higher quality than the ones stuffed with cotton filling or styrofoam.

I purchased this as a gift for my brother who has back problems but likes to do his meditation sitting on the floor. It is solid thick and provides a wonderful amount of support for the back. It’s not really big and it’s not really small it’s made to fit directly under you and not around you. He says it helps and was pleased with the gift.

I bought this cushion so I can change my meditation practice location from one seated in a chair to legs folded on the floor. I used to use a zafu at the Tai Chi school that I went to and was hoping to get one that was similar to the one that I used there. I actually like this one even more.I waited for about a little over a week to review it so I can make sure that how I felt on day one wasn't just the excitement of getting something new delivered. I'm still getting used to sitting on the floor for longer periods of time (my legs aren't as flexible as they were 10 years ago but they're getting there) and the zafu also makes a good cushion for when I have to do the meditation on a chair for a while since my legs were going numb from sitting cross legged. This Zafu is both firm and soft and I can see using it for years to come.

The product description said the cushion is designed in Thailand. However it is actually made in China. The description is misleading as it doesn’t mention clearly about the manufacturing country. Why did you have to hide this information?
