LOVE these pencils! Bought the pencils plus the first two volumes of the corresponding color by number books for my 6yo daughter 3 years ago to take on our long summer vacation. Our 9yo niece tried to steal them, and I found myself grabbing this set when I needed to do some quick artwork. These definitely make an easy gift for any age. They quickly became my daughters favorite for drawing and coloring and have LASTED! A few colors ran out recently and she begged me to buy another set. I went right back to these - great color selection, they don’t roll off the table and the metal carrying case is indestructible. The pencils have a slight curved triangular shape and each of the three sides has the color name and number on it, so it’s easy to find what you’re looking for. This set is a huge value - the pencils alone are $20 and the additional two books are worth way more than a few dollars. The two books that came with this set are definitely more “advanced†as they have fold-out pages (15â€x10â€) and some pages are “create your own colorâ€. Perfect for an experimenting artist!

My kids always ask for color by numbers books and these are one of the best out there. It's not like when we were kids. These books even tempt me to use them, kind of like the adult coloring books. The pictures are cool and it clams them and keeps them away from electronic devices.They take a long time to complete as they are very detailed There are pictures without numbers where you can choose which colors you would like to use in the picture, no numbers.The paper quality is good, and excellent on the blank number pictures.

I really enjoy the mindlessness of the color by number system this set provides. The pencils have the number and the pages have the numbers. Except, half the pages don't have numbers and you are left to color to your imagination. While that is great, that isn't why I bought this set. I wish I would have known not all the pages have numbers on them.

I bought this as a gift for my 14 Daughter for the Holidays she loves to Color but gets easily distracted so I thought color by number would be ideal for her !Love the pop of unique color patterns they choose in the coloring books !
