It has no amplification, which may be bad depending on your use-case, I wanted something to combine my phone audio with a handheld games audio without needing a power source for the audio mixer and this does exactly that.If you want to use it with Bluetooth to aux converters then you may want something with amplification instead. Since many Bluetooth adapters I have tried have very low output and no amplification. There are mixers with built in batteries and amps that could work just fine, I chose this since I didn't want to worry about charging and my phone and game have fairly loud volume output over aux and I don't use super long aux cables which would lower the signal volume. If your use case is similar to my own or you already have the amplification you require and just need something to mix and combine signals then this is a great little mixer.Just a quick tip if your having trouble with low volume then try playing with the volume nobs of the rest of the sources, with amplified mixers sometimes lowering the volume of unused sources can increase the volume of the used ones and with unamplified mixers maxing out the volume of the used sources will increase the overall volume and you might even see improvement from opening or closing the unused channels.

This did exactly what I wanted, to play and mix two different audio sources on one output device. For me, this was to play video game audio from one source and play music or voice chat from another source into my headphones. However, using this audio mixer does decrease the volume of all sources significantly. I have to put my game sound to full on the output device, and turn both knobs to max just to achieve an adequate volume in my ears. I tested this by listening to just one source with my headphones directly, adjusting the output volume to a comfortable level. Then I putting the mixer in the chain, setting the input and volume knobs on the mixer to full. I could still hear the music in my headphones but it was quieter, so its definitely this mixer that is causing the volume loss.Pros:- cheap- simple to use- combines multiple inputs into one output- sounds fine, I did not need the ground isolator device mentioned in the product pictures/descriptionCons:- decreases volume- exposed construction, I guess you could short something if you stuck something metal inside the mixer.

Looks nice, cute even. But I bought it to mix signals, not look nice on my shelf! I can hardly hear anything through this! Have to turn everything up full volume, and it is still impossible to hear anything well. This is just worthless connecting musical instruments, computers, etc.Need an active mixer with amplification, which means a good device will need power for real electronics. This device is just a collection of passive resistors and potentiometers (variable resistors). Looks like the "isolation resistors" connected to the potentiometers are too high a value for this to work well. That is a bad design, just like the other ones that had similar reviews.

I was incredibly skeptical of this product before it arrived, but it is surprisingly one of my favorite purchases of the year. It feels very rugged and sturdy, signals come through crisp and clean, potentiometers move smoothly with a deceptive amount of resistance, it takes up practically no space at all, it looks techy and minimalist, and it even has a polished bottom that is certainly cheap but looks nice. The main caveat of any passive mixer is that it is really only meant to handle line level. As long as you know that going in, this thing is a value beast and i will definitely get more for my portable dawless music production rigs.

Got this to initially control headphone volume from my guitar amp and mix with other sources during practice. With the headphones connected directly to the amp headphone jack, the amp headphone volume control needed to be set at a bit less than half for a comfortable but still very full and loud sound. Putting this mixer in between with everything turned to the max the sound is weak and distant. It seems to capture the full range of the input and is a very solid little unit, but for my intent, just doesn’t make the grade

does exactly what I need it to do. Glad I purchased it.

If you are using headphones as your main output, the volume is very low. Other wise, ir’s well made, good concept.

After 9 months of daily use, it works perfect. I use it to mix my 2 laptops and 2 phones in a very small space on my desktop, directly to a BT transmiter and is a worth solution. Loose a little bit when you manipulate the knobs but isn't a big deal cause is not designed for profesional use.

What else is there to say? Controls are quiet (no scraping sounds when turned). Feels solid. Compact design.

Not as advertised... you really need a preamp... decreases signal imensly... after splitting it of course but for the price eh!..it works
