Bought the 2-pack, one for me and one for my daughter. I shop at Aldi a lot and sometimes forget my quarter for the cart. I now have this handy little gadget on my keyring and on my person at all times. It does what it's supposed to do; release a cart from the other carts. It doesn't fit perfectly in the slot; it moves around a lot. But it DOES release the cart! Just don't forget that it hangs there while shopping. And if you use the cashier instead of self-check, remember to tell the cashier you want to keep your cart.

We bought these because we thought it would be useful but little didn’t we know it would break the cart also how are you supposed to get your keychain back because our aldis alternates the carts

I frequently shop @ Aldi which requires a quarter(USD) & this works perfectly for unlocking the carts! I attached it to my key ring so no scrounging for change any more. Well worth the money although I purchased it for the specific purpose I’m not sure what else it’s used for.

This is useful if you don't always carry a purse or change with you. my only complaint is that is seems a bit small so sometimes the Aldi carts don't recognize there is a "quarter" in it to give you a cart or replace it. I would suggest putting it on a detachable key chain or no with your car keys. When unloading the groceries in the car you don't have access to the keys while they are in the cart.
