This body cam is great for the average person, it doesn't transmit nor is way overbuilt for durability to qualify it for any sort of "duty" camera but for normal people wanting to record aspects of their life or certain events it will work out great for you. The battery lasted me just over four and a half hours of continuous recording. That's allowing the screen to go to sleep and not taking any still pictures during the video so plenty of time for things I'll want it for. The videos from that time took up about 3/5th of the included memory card broken into 10 minute files so you could recharge and get a few more hours before having to delete anything. The big drawbacks for normal use are the buttons themselves are small and unreadable, the engraved icons are very shallow and small so the black on black is very hard to read until you memorize their placements. Secondly you have to remove the SD card to read from it so you'll need a micro card reader and charge the camera separately (could still be form the computer but not as convenient as if charge and read at the same time over the same cable)

I wanted to like this very portable camera more than I can.Let's start with the good. The resolution and available features like IR, burst photo, and motion detection make this a really clever and decent little video camera. The interface, when connected to a computer with the included cord, is intuitive to review, save, and delete files. The motion sensor feature is likely the best use for us, especially while traveling. It can be mounted on adjustable tripod on a desk, nightstand, etc. and put on stealth. If anyone enters, it will record.Now the less than good or just plain quirky...It is almost impossible to discern/read the buttons because they are black on black (just have to remember the button functions with use). There is no link or site to see operation of the camera just a very small manual with very small print (see picture). There is a lanyard included which makes no sense - if you tried to record while moving it would be a blur. Having been in law enforcement, I can tell you this wouldn't survive any tussle with a bad guy (or even bumping into something hard). It's just not made sturdy enough to be a body worn camera. It would likely be just fine for recording the kids or a pet playing in the yard.And without some creativity, there is no way to use the dash cam feature. Can't very well use the camera on the dashboard with the tripod or laying flat.Lastly, there is no case or bag to store this with its numerous parts. It seems small, but when trying to keep things together/organized this makes a difference. There are 6 pieces that should really be kept together.Overall, still a nice item that could just be tweaked a bit to make it a very nice camera, especially for the money.
