Item works great. I use both cylinders in my safe but using one dropped the humidity level from 57 percent down to 44 percent which was awesome. I use both just to keep my safe dry as possible. with both cylinders in use it will go down to 35 percent humidity.Customer service is also great. At one point the heating base stopped working so i emailed Afloia about the issue and I got a replay back in a timely manner. Cathy who helped my gathered some information and sent me a brand new heating base with a spare cyclinder. How awesome is that! I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants to control humidity in your safe.

Easy to use, fast set up and worked exactly as promised.... I switch between the 2 of them in my safe.... usually last about 3 weeks then they need to be dried out on the base.... super quick dry out.

I used 2x for a safe (major overkill) and they went to town dehydrating. Took it a couple days to pull the initial dampness from the safe (carpeting) and after that worked well and pulled humidity out much quicker.Keep in mind it needs to catch up your environment and if you continually push humidity to it it will never catch up.This is a southern Florida environment so keep that in account on this review.Very easy to deal with and use. Looks nice and charging base is really nice.Best and easiest for the money. If you need something faster you will have to go "electric"Used a ThermoPro TP50 Digital Hygrometer to track the humidity.Took it 2 days to pull the initial moisture from 67% to 52% - 55% is max for any safe.Lower the better. After it hit 52% it was time to recharge both canisters that came with this kit.Hope this helps others understand what they are getting and how it works.

These work quite well actually. The product is built very good and seems like it will last for a while. There is a heating base that comes with these so when the beads turn from bright orange to black you know that the dehumidifiers are holding max amount of precipitation and it's time to put them on the heating base to dry out and bring the beads back to bright orange. The base has a safety so once you put them on to dry out and the process is complete the base will stop working and not over dry the dehumidifies out, this takes about 30 minutes to run the process completely. I have a 36 pew pew size safe and it keeps my humidity level from 50% to 54% which is perfect from what I'm told. Before I bought these my safe would be all the way up around 65% to 70% and that bis no good. The one issue I have is this. Sometimes I have to dry them out a lot more than I should have to as in 2 time in a week but then sometimes they will go for a month. These need to get dialed in so that it's on a monthly schedule and not weekly. I still recommend these because they do work very well keeping my humidity levels down. If I have to dry them out a little extra once in a while I don't mind. I will be getting more and suggest others to get some.

I live in Pennsylvania. During the rainy days in the summer it's 100% humidity here, on a regular basis. Because of this, I end up with surface rust on my guns quite often. I ordered these, in a two pack, and shoved both of them in my gun cabinet. I only get about 4-6 days before they need recharged, but just pop them on the base for a few hours, come back, and they are recharged. No problem. The only thing I will say is originally I was only using one. It seems that I don't get a lot more time by using both of them. Either way I'm recharging in a week or less. They definitely made a difference, I have not gotten any moisture issues since my purchase. I do need to get a gauge and actually test the level but I'm giving it 5 stars. A little pricey, but otherwise great.

When I first received this I had high hopes. All looked to be well constructed and of good quality materials. The drying cartridges seemed large enough for my use. I am using this in a safe, with a door that shuts tightly against a gasket. I am not in a high humidity location, I am in New England. We have had a very wet winter, but that has not raised the humidity for extended periods.I can't say this item doesn't do what it claims, but I find this item to be far overpriced based on its performance and would not recommend it. My problem is with the ability of the cartridges to absorb moisture. I am not sure what type of silica beads the manufacturer used, but they seem to have almost no capacity to absorb moisture. I do not open this safe frequently but the beads in these cartridges turn black in just 2 -3 DAYS in the closed and sealed safe. I have used other devices with silica beads before. These would give me 2 to 4 WEEKS before they needed recharging. If I have to tend these cartridges almost daily they are more of a burden than a benefit.

I had an issue with winter moisture in my old car, these would pull it out and we're so easy to recharge, used daily and would swap to the 2nd after a few days while the 1st recharged

Been using for about 4 months. Well made. The drying base functions fine and turns the beads from black/dark green back to orange in the two hours then shuts off. Very easy to use. On the plus side, the units gray color match exactly the inside carpet of my safe. Here's why it only gets 3 stars...the inside of my safe hovers around 37% humidity. Both unit's beads turn dark green/black within about 11 days. It is not clear to me if the only beads are the ones you can see in the window or if the entire tube has beads. It seems to me that if it was full of beads it should last a lot longer. I left both units outside my safe for two weeks and the humidity in my safe never got higher than 40%. So, good concept, good quality materials, but short life span. Be prepared to recharge often.
