I just received this Bucket and have not tried to attach it to my excavator or use it. I want to talk about the quality of the bucket and how I think it will perform so other interested people get a better idea of what you are buying. I have uploaded several pictures for you to look at. First off, for the price this appears that it will work good for my intended purposes which is to remove weeds that have grown up through my gravel.In regards to quality, it is definitely Chinese and could have been built a little more robust and could have definitely used some Quality Control.The box was packed better than I expected however after removing the bucket and taking a closer look, they should have also added the wood pieces to protect the sides as mine was damaged/bent from shipping. The sides are approximately 1/8†and would have been a lot better at 1/4â€. I should be able to bend it back out but I imagine that they will bend again with heavy use. 1 of the 2 Bolts will not fit through the non Hex side because the inside hole is rough instead of smooth. I will have to take a file to it to remove the burrs so that the bolt will fit all the way through. Even the one that fits has burrs inside it that will need to be filed down.In the end, I would definitely buy this again as the price was reasonable and the quality will get the job done.

I haven't received my machine yet, but have been doing a ton of research. This is not an extremely heavy duty bucket and I would say not for rough digging, more for sifting already dug soil. I was even thinking with a little shop ingenuity , one could make a sheet metal "cover" insert to plug the slots and use this for a grading bucket as well. The welds look satisfactory and typical of this type of product. They won't win any awards for sure , but will hold just the same. My welds don't look much better and they hold just fine. The bucket overall, does have some heft to it, so there is some steel there. I am happy with it for the cost. Now to get the excavator here, lol.
