This hasn't been used for shooting firecrackers yet, but it's still a fantastic product. The quality is amazing. It is super durable and well built. It looks really cool sitting on my son's desk. He will definitely be trying it out with the firecrackers as soon as he can get some. I will update then.

Very rickety. Not put together well. Everything is loose. Weak recoil spring. Doesn't work very well with safety.

I was hoping for a Toy Cannon that the Grandchildren could play with during the holidays that would double as a Firecracker Cannon on the 4th. The Faitio Artillery Cannon is a wonderful toy for the sandbox, it really is quite the Cannon, The Metal Construction is Heavy Duty and it looks its part - Perfect for make believe games and all -> Real Firecrackers - Not so much. The clamp that holds the barrel base on is quite floppy with a very loose fit - I wouldn't think of using the Cannon with a firecracker. I would think that it would fire as designed. The Toy Cannon resembles the Top Shelf Metal Toys that we had in the Late 50's and Sixties when we were that special age ourselves. I gave the Faitio Artillery Cannon Model a Full Four Stars Across the Board, the Missing Star is for the advertised Firecracker Use. The Toy Cannon is Very Durable, Well Designed, Built to last a lifetime, and it looks Great to name a few of them.
