Product is small. My concern was pouring the paint from a 5 gallon bucket into the small tray. I used aplastic cup to put the paint into the tray and it work well. Did a great job.

I've been painting furniture professionally for 5 years. I put a lot of work into each piece of furniture I work on because I'm not a slap paint on a pig and call it a day kind of girl. Although I use chalk paint, I take the necessary steps to prep before painting. My prep consists of cleaning then rinsing. Sanding then making repairs. Cleaning again and a final rinse. Once dry, I use denatured alcohol to clean the piece and remove any residue that may have not been removed from rinsing. Then I'll prime the piece with 2 coats of shellac. Once dry, it's time for paint. With the work I put into my furniture, I need tools to help me along the way to achieve a flawless finish. If I'm not blending paint but rather using one color, these mini rollers are the perfect addition to my arsenal. I paint small sections using a paint brush then I'll use the roller to even out the paint. The foam rollers leave a smooth finish so I only need a light sanding with 1000 grit sandpaper before I seal it with poly. I've been using these rollers for about a year and I'm very happy with them. I've used other foam rollers and they were garbage. The rollers would disintegrate as I was using them and pieces of foam would get stuck in my paint. I don't have that problem with these rollers. I've also used them to evenly apply shellac with no issues. If you rinse them between use and take care of them, they'll last you for a few uses. I can get 2 dressers done with 1 foam roller. My ONLY complaint with this products is the fact that I can't just buy replacement rollers. If I want more, I have to buy the whole kit. Ok so $8.99 is worth the investment, but it would be nice to just be able to order the rollers on it's own. FYI I have not used these rollers for anything other than furniture or signs so I can't say how they will work if you were to use them to paint walls. Unless you have an insane amount of time on your hands and in no rush to finish the walls, I really wouldn't recommend using this to paint your walls but to each their own.I would highly recommend this product to furniture artists who may want to get the job done a little quicker than just painting their furniture with a brush.

I'm using these to paint the trim in my house. I sprayed a portion of the trim, but grew tired of the excess prep and covering everything in the room besides the trim to prevent overspray. With these, I'm able to paint trim as I have time without all the extra prep work. The finish is every bit as good as the sprayed on finish.

I painted one bathroom counter/sink with a 4 inch roller and struggled with the contour of the sink. This little roller was perfect to do the second counter and fix some of the issues with the first one. Sure, it's not the highest quality roller, but for about $10 you get the roller arm, 4 covers, and a tray. So if you're painting something small or with weird contours, this is perfect!

Exactly the rollers I needed! But the tray is way too shallow to use for my current paint job. But I can use for my acrylics craft paints.
