Seems very sturdy and comfortable in hand. Unsure if the rasp is defective or intentionally shorter in the middle right. Honestly tried to test this, but the goats weren't down with it. 4 stars tentatively as unsure if the rasp is supposed to have different heights.

This is very ergonomic and easy to use. It's heavy duty and will last. It's not as sharp as other rasps I have used, and it takes quite a bit more work to get the hoof filed down as much as I'd like in between trims. It will be a good backup, but for everyday use I would find somethign sharper.

Solid rasp. I used it to clean up my goats and sheeps feet. It helps even things out quickly. It is sturdy and I felt I could get good pressure on the hoof with good results.

Great rasp, we are using this in our woodshop needed an easyer way to hold a big rasp this does that makes it much simpler to round over inside curves. Nicely aggressive teeth really removes wood quickly makes a great roughing out tool, at an affordable price.

I was trying to make trimming goat hooves easier with this rasp. Does it work, yes. Does it cut human easily too, unfortunately, yes. This is probably best suited for donkey or horse hooves. Too hard to keep my hand out of the way while using it on an uncooperative goat. It did smooth down the heel area nicely.

Easy to handle/usethe handle was comfortableMy farrier didn't think it would last in terms of its sharpness, she thought it would dull quickly but obviously won't know until time has passed, but that was her concernShe said she wouldn't do a whole farrier job with it because it's so small but she thinks it's good for owners to tidy up between trims. So more a consumer level rasp. Which is how I'd use so satisfied at this point with it
