I’ve been using this mini craft iron for sewing projects, and it’s been a great little tool! It’s perfect for pressing seams, binding, and appliques without having to pull out my full-size iron. It heats up quickly and gets the job done. The only downside is that the knob placement makes it a little awkward to hold, but I’ve gotten used to it. For the price, it’s a solid addition to my craft room, and I’m glad I picked it up!

This mini iron is pink and blue colored, lightweight, and comes with a long cord. It does have an easy to grip handle and the temperature can be adjusted. Once turned on, it doesn’t take long to heat up, and surprisingly enough it actually gets hot. The actual size of the iron is close to an inch, so it is tiny enough to get in all of those hard to reach places. It does come with a stand to set it on. And because of its small size, it can be taken just about anywhere. If I could change anything about this it would be how they did the settings. Instead of high and low for the temp. I would have put something digital that could’ve told you exactly how hot the iron was.

This thing gets HOT! It works great, just be careful not to burn yourself. I made tea bags for a fundraiser last week. Before that, I used it to heat an iron on transfer that wasn't getting a good press along a tough seam. I would not let my children use it though. The entire barrel gets hot, and with it's light weight it can be pulled by the cord very easily.

I ordered this for foundation paper piecing. I figured it was just a matter of time until I burned my fingers trying to iron those tiny little pieces with a full size iron. This iron will definitely work for that. The tiny little iron tip is exactly what I wanted for fpp. Does this get as hot as a full size iron? No. Does it get as hot as a brand name mini iron? I don't know because I haven't used one but I'm going to guess the answer is also no. So this may not be your absolutely perfect ideal dream iron, but for the price, it seems like it will do the job. I can't speak to the durability yet since I just got it, but overall it will work for my purposes.

In the listing photos it conveniently doesn't show the face of the iron... that's because there's a circle right on it. It makes it difficult to iron things flat when there's a circle there messing everything up. I can only use the very tip for what I need it for or else it will mess my project up. Other than that the iron does get very hot and the temperature is easy to change but could easily be bumped and change the temperature.
