I ordered this clock because it was one of very few that are illuminated in the dark. Well I never got that far cuz it wasn’t running when it arrived and there’s no apparent way to open it to change the button battery. And the dial to set the time is inaccessible with fingers - you’d need a tiny pair of pliers. Also, there were no instructions included. I returned it.

Works for my application. My dash doesn’t have a clock. The radio does, but it’s really hard to read, so I needed an upgrade.Didn’t expect much for $8, but I got a gem. Two pieces of double sided tape AND an extra battery. Numbers are easy to read, keeps perfect time, hands are easy to see…mounted great.ONLY CON, the luminous feature is pretty weak. Even if I “charge†it with a flashlight. It just doesn’t stay glowing for very long. Bummer at night. But for the price, I’m very happy. A+

Just received it today and battery was dead. Tried the extra battery but when pulling out ild battery the hands fell off. No instructions. Figured out how to set time by pulling out watch stem and turning it. To remove back use sharp knife near watch stem to pry open metal. back case ( no notch available). When prying out battery the whole internal machinery pulls back from face dislodging watch hands and they will not go back on. Total waste of money for nonfunctional clock. I wish I had read the reviews. All the other ones at Amazon looked like made in same factory so I bought a watch, removed band and used double sided stick tape to apply to this one’s vent clip. Working well thus far. The vent clip on this does work so repurposed.

Car didn't come with a clock. This is a nice substitute. I prefer analog to digital. Don't expect it to glow in the dark... those went out with the 1930's. I replaced the included adhesive with a Velcro strip. Makes it easier to remove to replace the battery... which you will be doing at least twice a year.

I like the clock but there is no way this is a glow in the dark.....not even close. Can't see it at night whatsoever. Also, try changing the batteries and you will turn to drinking instead. I'll try something else next time
