If you need a budget matte box to cut down on flares, this is it. And when I say budget, I mean BUDGET. The entire matte box is constructed using plastic. The plastic is fine, but feels a bit flimsy in some places. Everything works as intended, and the barn doors help cut down on unwanted flares. My biggest mistake in ordering this product is thinking it has a slot to put filters. It doesn't, which is a bit disappointing. Basically, this matte box is only useful for cutting down on flares and that's it.Overall, this is a very cheap matte box that doesn't have any support for filters. Personally, I'm just going to stick to the lens hood that came with my lens until I can afford a better matte box. However, if you )for some reason) NEED a matte box on the cheap, this is about the best you're gonna get.

A fantastic value! Works exactly like it's supposed to. Easy to install on a 15mm rail set. A good value! It makes a huge difference with light into the lens and looks amazing!
