Much like how the EU mocks the US for their inability to use metric, I shall mock myself for not wanting to do the math to convert from F to C. I purchased this specifically because it was already in C, or so i thought. very disappointed, otherwise it's decent enough.

I'm not sure how to evaluate the accuracy of this since it's the first time I've tried to measure the humidity in my apartment. I have some plants that love high humidity and they weren't doing so well. I immediately purchased a humidifier and the plants did even worse. So, I saw this and thought I'd give it a shot. The humidity seems to vary depending on where in my living room I place it. My kitchen opens into the living room so I suppose that if I'm cooking, it could affect the meter reading. I did discover that whereever it was, it indicated that the humidity was much higher than it needed to be. I turned off all of the humidifiers and the plants got healthier. So, for my purposes, this seems to work. To measure accuracy, I would need another humidity meter and I'm not willing to invest in a second one. So, if you do require extreme accuracy, I'm afraid I just cannot give much feedback. If you are looking for approximate accuracy, I would say that this is good enough to keep your temperamental plants from dying. I would have appreciated some instructions. This is marketed as being for reptiles but the product page also claims it can be used for plants. I would have no idea where to put the probe if I was trying to measure humidity in a reptile habitat and I just guessed for my plants. I laid it on the table near where all of the plants were. If there was a recommended method, it wasn't clear what it was.

No more ruining my hydrometer with water when misting the Gecko Mansion now because this is a probe inside and the unit on the outside thankfully. I say it's very accurate.

Works as described. Readings are very accurate. only downside is the display does not glow for dark readings, but works perfectly and good price.
