So far we've only played around with it breathing in the house, but we definitely plan on using it come warm weather. We got the Vevor three stage hand pump for filling it. But let me go ahead and tell you, you are going to be tired when you get done filling it lol. At one point I thought maybe the air was just leaking out and I wasn't putting anything in it but finally it started moving I guess maybe the pump kicked into a different stage and then when we was getting to the close Max pressure it was me literally letting my body weight try to hammer it down to get it to pump more in. It's definitely not something you're going to want to do if you're refilling it over and over again during the course of a day lol. I guarantee if you did you wouldn't have any energy left for the dives. Now that has nothing to do with the bottle it's just a little info so people are knowing what they're getting into and if they want to deal with that or get an actual power PCP pump or either have it filled somewhere. the bottle's perfect and so is the regulator. Well at least it is on dry land so far breathing through it. I'll update once summer gets here and do a dive but I don't suspect any issues.

This is a great size, should last the 5-10 minutes for most people depending on your air consumption and depth. It falls into a small thin class of tanks that don't need to be rehydro tested every 5 years. You can fill this with a Benjamin style air gun pump but that takes a lot of work. Get the tank filler, the same style that is used for paintball guns and you can fill this from you main dive tank. You would think these would be great for scouting lobster or shallow dives but the truth is that its kinda long for that. Not that its too long and gets in the way, but it grabs water and current and with only you mouth holding it, it can be a challenge to hold onto it. Its best suited for either safety stops on the return or in an emergency. That is not to say that you can't use it to scout, but keep in mind that you will probably need to keep one hand on it to steady it. Over all a great design and a great product. I really like that the valve comes off easily for traveling with it. Great mini tank!

I read that this only lasts about 10 minutes, but it should be okay as an emergency bottle. I need to take it to a dive shop to get it filled, as I do not have a pump. It's nice that it includes a pressure gage. I took off one star because it does not last long.

When I first saw this, I grabbed it because I thought I’d be able to use it when I scuba dive. After doing quite a bit of reading, I figured out that to really use this you need a pump and filters. I’m definitely going to be using it this summer, but I have to find the Right solution to make it worth it. As far as the tank goes, it’s very thick and well-made, the mouthpiece is comfortable and simple. This is a great Emergency tank for when your scuba diving and if you have the right set up, You’ll be able to fill it to the required 3000 psi and get your five minutes. This costs about the same as other tanks that come on their own.

Really great mini tank and really great price! Just got it filled the other day. I plan to use it for fairly shallow water and also to do some boat work and pool work. This thing fit the bill perfectly!

As an avid scuba diver for many years I have seen and experienced many events underwater where a diver was in trouble and air supply problems top the list so I ordered this Mini 0.5-liter Scuba Tank to have with me underwater should an air supply emergency occur during future dives. The tank (green option) is very brightly colored and visible from a long distance away and comes complete with a built-in regulator and mouthpiece so once filled it is ready to use in an instant. In my opinion this tank should have included a holding strap or harness of some kind considering the price but for myself I have fashioned my own holding strap. The depth rating is a bit confusing on the product webpage but the manual clearly states that when used as an emergency air supply the max depth is 30 meters (approximately 100 feet) although if used as a recreation air supply for short duration diving and snorkeling the maximum depth is only 10 meters or 30 feet (close enough to the surface for a quick ascent for air when the tank is empty I am sure). Overall this product is very similar to a brand name product that most scuba divers are familiar with. The price is okay but I feel like a harness should be included.

This tank is really well constructed. The bottle itself is a solid piece of aluminum that is very thick and substantial. The mouth piece is really nice and flexible and fits well in my mouth. It is also comfortable to have in my mouth. The gauge is easy to read and the connection points area all very solid. I'm pretty impressed with it. I'd recommend it in a heart beat for anyone.
