It fits the carrier perfect and works exactly as advertised. on road i chirp tires turning corners but off-road it delivers all the power to both rear tires 100%. You could weld your spider gears but honestly this is easier and you don't need other equipment. some of the other mini spools for the 9' have 4 holes for pins and that may be stronger for higher hp applications.

This fit in my 1976 f150 mud truck. fit just fine in my 9 inch. didnt have to modify anything. worked great!

Have not put any power to it, but bought it for mock up (these can keep axles more or less lined up in your 9" housing w/out the 3rd member in place.
