These work great for putting inside carved pumpkins at Halloween. That is what I used them for. You get 10 lights (which includes batteries) and 2 remote controls. Each remote will work with all of the lights. The range on the remotes is short, but that is actually useful if you have multiple pumpkins and you can control each one individually unless they are right next to each other (in which case each will be controlled by the remote at the same time). With the remote, you can turn the lights on or off. You can control one of several colors. You can control whether the lights automatically change colors or fade in and out. You can also control the brightness. In a perfect world, the lights would be able to get a little brighter, but they do get bright enough to work well in a pumpkin. I used 3 of these lights on Halloween 2023 and they worked perfectly. I have no idea what the battery life is, but I left them on for about 5 hours and the lights didn't appear any dimmer to me. At one point, I changed the lights in my 3 pumpkins from a solid orange light to transitioning though the colors. Since I controlled all 3 lights at the same time with the remote, they started out changing colors in synch. I checked after a couple of hours, and the colors weren't in synch anymore. Not at all surprising, but just something to be aware of. Using these was way easier than lighting tea lights. They also worked better than other lights I have used in the past with pumpkins. I'm not sure what else I would ever use them for, but these lights are great for illuminating your decorated pumpkins.

Overall I really like these lights as they pack a lot of functionality into a small package.The remote seems to work well as long as you stay within about 20 feet.There are several modes to choose from, and you can change the speed of the ones that flash, blink, or fade.You can also adjust the brightness of any static, or solid, light mode.If you are looking for synchronization between all of the lights, look elsewhere.While you can turn them all on, or change modes at the same time, they will not stay in sync. If this is not important to you, then you should be happy with this purchase.The are very bright, but I would have liked them to have a little more diffusion of the light rather than the clear lens they currently come with.The fact that they are waterproof opens up a lot of possibilities for use...just make sure you have them tightly screwed together before trying this out.For those that may have had a few of the lights not work, there should be an easy fix for this. (See my included photos)If you unscrew the non-working light you will see two metal tabs on either side of the battery.These tabs need to make contact with the outer copper ring that you find in the top half of the light.If you very slightly bend up the two tabs, you will enable them to make the required contact with the copper ring, which should fix the issue. If that does not work, then you actually have a defective light.Four out of the ten lights in my order were not working and this little fix got them all up and running.Here are the pros and cons:Pros:1. Good functionality - several modes to choose from; flash/fade/strobe/smooth speed is adjustable; brightness of the static lights is also adjustable; range is adequate.2. Waterproof - They can be used in water or other clear fluids.3. Price - A great value considering that you get 10 lights and 2 remotes.Cons:1. Clear lens - This may be subjective, but I would rather see these with a diffused lens to better distribute the light.2. Poor synchronization - When operating more than one light at the same time, the will eventually get out of sync if using one of the flash/fade/strobe/smooth modes.3. Some lights may not work right out of the package - Most likely correctable by performing the fix I described above, but this boils down to poor quality control by the manufacturer.

As I only put up my train platform during the holidays, these lights just add pop to my buildings as I have reached the age of wiring and rewiring the platform it too time consuming. Not only easy to use but worth it overall.

The only reason I gave these even one star is because they actually light up. I put them in some Halloween decorations and thought it would be convenient to be able to turn them on and off with a remote. I have been using 8 of them for about two weeks and they are on about three hours each evening. In that short time, three of them have completely died, one is flashing red and unusable , and three of them are not responding to the color changing feature on the remote. I have also changed the battery in the remote.The replacement batteries are not inexpensive and would cost me almost as much as the lights cost. And I can’t be sure they would actually work even if the batteries were replaced.These seemed like a good idea but turned out to be a waste of money.

Update on my lights. Currently only 3 of the 10 are lighting up. This was not worth the money and very disappointing I was very excited to use these on my porch jack o lanterns. After 1 week 2 of them are already out of power and require new batteries. I only turn them on for 3 hours each night. I expected them to at least last the month of October

We used these fornour kiddo's Enderman costume and they were perfect! The remote was especially helpful because we could adjust the brightness for comfort and we could turn off one or more lights if needed (we used 4 for the costume).These are super easy to use, literally open the package, twist closed and turn on. The remotes are super easy to use and theres a wide range of colors and settings.Because they were small and lightweight we were able to use Velcro to attach the lights with no issue. Everything stayed in place and remained on for all of trick or treating! Super fun lights to have around, looking forward to finding more uses for them!

Muy pequeñas. El control remoto tiene muy poco alcance cuando se sumerge la lámpara. No es estanco del todo pues tras un primer uso, se ha manchado de oxido interiormente.

Bought them for Halloween decorations a year ago. Took out the batteries and stored the lights in a dry and indoor place. Both the lights and batteries lasted another year. They're super easy to use in DIY decorations (glued mine in the inside of spider eyes and pumpkins). Make sure you screw them closed real tight otherwise you might be fooled to think they're broken (I was mislead the second time I took them out!).

Very versatile lights. We put some in the water feature but also dotted some around the patio area and under the glass on the table. Lovely and bright and easy to use. The only downside is the remote, have to point on each light to turn on / off.
