I love this compact trauma kit. You should always have a tourniquet on you, and this little pocket pouch easily holds the SWAT tourniquet along with several other items you'll need for a trauma emergency.

This is a product that I hope to never use and I haven’t had a need to do so yet. I like the compact kit that I can keep in a pack and one in my truck at all times.

If you were to buy these items individually on amazon, you would pay $25 for just the SWAT-T and mini H Bandage, so this kit is a steal since the compressed gauze is basically free. Their size makes them convenient to keep in a purse, glove box, backpack, or range bag. However, I do have a few minor complaints, hence the four star review. First off, the kit does not come with gloves. It’s not a huge deal to supply your own gloves, but it is one more thing to remember. Second, some kits appear to be better sealed than others. I bought three kits and only two arrived with the vacuum seal intact. However, the components are individually wrapped, so again this is not a big deal. The final problem I noticed, which is a big deal, is that these can sometimes be hard to open despite the notch at the top of the bag. This is because the packaging varies slightly between units. It probably took me 30 seconds to tear the pouch open with clean and dry hands. This could be disastrous if you are trying to open it with blood covered hands and reduced strength and motor skills due to blood loss. I fixed the issue by tearing the pouch open and placing the contents in a sandwich bag, but it’s not an ideal solution.Overall I’d highly recommend this kit, but I’d also recommend removing the contents, placing them in a different bag, and adding some gloves while you’re at it.

Fits in cargo pocket. Good price with essential items. Just throw pair of gloves in the pocket with the taauma kit and go.
