About magnetic arc extinguishing
- AC circuit breakers cannot be used for DC, whereas DC circuit breakers can be used for AC.
- AC has a zero point, while DC does not, so DC arcs are more difficult to extinguish than AC arcs
- DC miniature circuit breakers are equipped with a magnetic field system under the breaking contact that pulls the arc into the interrupter chamber to assist in extinguishing the arc.

- Please select the wire size according to the rated current.

This din rail breaker was very easy to install and is good quality and passed all tripping test I performed. Looks great and does the job . I feel like it will protect my wires and equipment and is cost effective for my budget .
