The reason I am even writing a review is to warn Minka ( I call them "Stinka") fan buyers that you will definitely need a larger down rod and/or the special ceiling hanger for any sloped ceiling having even a slight slope. The warning is that stinka charges a totally unreasonable price for their products because they "got you". You have to match their colors which other vendors don't have. There is nothing unique about their down rods or hangers to justify their crazy prices. THEY ARE RIP-OFFS !!!! Also read my review of their 52" wave fan - it's antiquated junk.
