I bought a fan on Amazon for my ceiling that had a 45 degree slope and the original hardware could not accommodate a slope that big. This adapter worked perfectly!

Worked great for this really steep ceiling.A lot of people don’t know that if they mount fans wrong way on a steep ceiling you have a chance of the fan falling off. Items like this solve that problem. Also you need to make sure that the bracket is specifically made for by verifying with manufacture of the fan itself.

I bought this for a ceiling fan I bought at HD. It was not in new condition as there were some scuff marks on it, but they weren't bad enough for me to return it. The ceiling fan I used this for said it would work for ceilings that were up to 32 degrees. Mine is more like 38 - 40 degrees, so the mount that came with it would not allow the down rod to hang straight. This one worked, but the decorative cover would not mount to this adapter. I had to make a custom way to mount the cover. Also, it may not work with all electrical boxes. It has slots for mounting, but depending on the location of the mounting holes in your j-box, it may not line up correctly, which it needs to do to work.

The mount works and fits great. This fits the steep angle of my ceiling. The only complaint I have is that the fan I installed is capable of reversing. When it reverses, it rotates the down rod several degrees. The trim they include in this kit has weak adhesive tape and upon the first time I reversed the fan direction, it popped off. Although, I wasn't surprised since it didn't seem to stick very well when I first installed it.I'm still happy with the purchase and would recommend this!

Was perfect, exactly what I needed for my 45 degree vaulted ceiling. 3/4†down rod was used and absolutely no shaking or noises. 100% recommended product.

Pay attention to the written description. They show you a picture of brushed nickel for every color, but the written description is different. My bad for not being detailed. Amazon’s more bad showing a picture of a brushed nickel kit for a white one.
