The set comes with only one knife, but it does work very good.I used it on 2” foam with very good results, just needed to play with proper temperature/ speed of cutting setup.The temperature can be adjusted on the bottom of the grip. I like this item, ability to set a useful angle of cutting is very convenient. Thanks!

I am putting in styrofoam insulation in between wall studs in a room I am remodeling. This hot knife was one of the better looking models on line so tried it. It works wonderfully, so much better than a utility knife. Quick easy cuts, if you use level3, high temp make sure to be working in a well ventilated area. I used it on level two the whole time and it didn’t burn at all or produce any smoke, you just have to take your time. Would defenitly recommend. Comes with a scraper to clean the blade. Recommend small wire brush if you really want to clean up after you finish working with it. Good price and quite a few accessories available.

It works great...takes a few times getting temp and speed set. To hot melting..moving to slow...so set a speed verses heat for you and all is great!!!!

I watched a ton of videos where people claimed wood saws and knives were the best thing to cut insulating foam. That's because they haven't tried THIS foam cutter! So fast, so easy, such clean cuts. Use a straight piece of wood as a fence and you get almost perfect cuts. Beware of the fumes. Wear a respirator and cut outdoors.

Eine stationäre Halterung wäre für gerade und winklige Schnitte wünscheswert. Wird wohl eine zusätzliche Arbeit über die Feiertage werden.Die Temperatur ist über den "Abzug" gut regulierbar. Die relativ grobe Temperaturvoreinstellung ist dreistufig und könnte etwas feiner ausfallen. Die Reinigung ist relativ einfach. Leider ist das Gehäuse nicht plan. Damit muss man aufpassen, wie das Gerät auf der Werkbank abgelegt wird.

It is efficient, heats up quickly, and produces smooth cuts when properly maintained. The addition of a rotatable handle should make it well suited to a variety of cutting angles and repetitive cuts. Only thing i would note is that this foam knife isn’t the best for smaller detailed cuts (crafts,etc.), given the size of the included blades, and the heat of produced even on level 1.

It works OK but is very limited in what it can do. That’s my opinion but the tool was good quality.
