This plant food contains natural ingredients to feed microbes in the soil (microbes break down natural ingredients into nutrients that support root strength and development which increases water efficiency). In addition, this garden product feeds plants for up to 3 months, and contains vital micronutrients to grow stronger, vibrant, and more productive plants (vs unfed). This all-purpose plant food may be used with most plants in ground or in containers. Apply this gardening product dry; do not pre-mix with water. When applying to in-ground plants, shake evenly onto the soil and work into the top 1-3 inches of soil. When using with container plants, mix into the soil at time of planting, or shake evenly onto the soil of established plants and lightly work in. For all plants, water to start feeding, and use the recommended rates provided on the label. I have a mini garden in the balcony. I thought it was impossible to keep them alive because of various factors but I think this fertilizer works. Easy to put on.

I never used food for my plants except egg shells and banana peels. Someone suggested I try this. OMG I couldn't believe it. My plants grew so fast and healthy looking. No joke on almost doubled in size. Everything looks beautiful.

Great fertilizer at a good price but it’s impossible to use without spilling the little beads all over. The lid design is just messy.

The best way to keep from having a garden weed problem is to prevent them in the first place. This has worked well. I used it when I first planted the fall garden plants to get the plants off to a good start, and to preven the weed seeds from sprouting from weeds that had gotten into my summer garden. Prevention has made it much easier after I fought weeds all summer long. This is now going to be a staple in my garden tool shed.

I have long been anti fertilizer. Then one day, Martha Stewart said (on a tv show, I don't know her personally) "You eat every day, and your plants should eat too". I'd been starving my plants and thinking they could live on water alone! In clay soil and 100 degree heat. I was so wrong, and I failed so many plants.No more. This fertilizer helped me keep roses alive, and helped me to grow a gigantically happy, healthy poppy flower. The free wood chip mulch certainly assisted, but I'm sure that providing food to these, and so many more plants, made a huge difference in their health.I appreciate that there are instructions, and that the container is so easy to use. I will definitely be buying more, and plan to use it in my native prairie plots this year, to see if I can get some big healthy flowers growing there too.
