This hose and the Mirka block sander are a true lifesaver, I had a problem with my breathing that I thought was due to a run-in with some blackmold, it was the mold , but it also was due to the fine saw dust and other construction materials. Now I'm be change over to a completely dust-free format. I would also like to thank Peter Parfitt at the New Brit Workshop for showing these great products and showing the real harm hand sanding can do. I'm proof of the harm that dust and other airborn toxins can do to a body. getting back to the review stuff, it hooks up to all of the three vacs that I have with no problem and there is no dust left behind on the work surface.

I use a short (4’)section of this hose connected to a regular vacuum hose on a couple of random orbit sanders in my shop, as the full length of hose diminished suction a little too much for my liking. I like the fact that it is really flexible. It makes the sander very light and nimble.

Works best in a festool midi style vacuum where inlet is on the top of the vacuum. Otherwise it keeps on falling out when suction stops.

I use this with Mirka's sanding block, It is a real nice combination. I set up a y fitting on my shopvac and connect this hose and another hose for my sander. Sanding is nearly dust free which nice for my lungs and probably extends the life of the sandpaper.

Hose works great with Festool hand sanding block and Festool CT26 and CT-Sys. Much cheaper alternative than the Festool hose. I purchased this item because I hated having to fight with the anti static Festool hose while sanding drywall.

I use this with the Mirka 91402 3/4 by 5 Inch Grip face Abranet Vac Block. Now even my hand sanding is Dustless!
