This nut did the trick over that garbage plastic one that came with the neck I had. With almost zero sanding it was exactly what I ordered. The slots were filed to the correct depth and the height was right there. I sanded it so that it aligned with the custom neck radius I designed, it was slightly thicker than the slot but that was an easy fix with a micro chisel. All in all a great addition.

Got one for my squire strat body had to sand the side down just a tad to fit in the slot but once it was in there it was nice and snug no movement perfect action height needed no adjustments or sanding height wise idk about other guitars but if you have a strat it will fit perfectly. My fret buzz from the plastic nut is gone and my tone is better too

Dropped right in on Fender Squire. Needed to file the ends a little, the string slots match the original.

I'll keep this short, it's real bone and it's big. You will probably have to do some filing and shaping but once done it's an excellent quality nut.It polished up nicely and although I had to slim it and shorten it the slots were set up nicely.

The nuts received were cut well and required no sanding to fit my 42mm nut slot. Height and length were spot on. However, the nuts are a flatter radius than I need for my 9.5 radius Squier CV 60s Jazzmaster. They are most likely a 12 radius, possibly a 16. Oh well, onto the next…

The advertised dimensions were not as delivered, it is too small. This makes it nearly impossible to install without shims or other bodges; this defeats the whole purpose of a solid bone nut being set in the neck to ensure proper tone. If it were slightly oversized, that's great, it can be trimmed to fit. Undersized, it's a nice toothpick. Found out too late to return it, so beware.

I like the price, look and feel of these. I have not installed them yet but the string spacing and shallow cut should make for a perfect fit with minimal sanding and cutting.
