I updated a couple of old Yamaha FG‘s to bone saddles. These are pretty close fit and only need the height adjusted. One needed a minor length adjustment, but they were good fits did not need to be thinned when you cut on them with a Dremel. you know they’re definitely bone. Polished up nicely. A good value.

I was replacing the saddle on my J45. I had been trying to get a slightly lower action on the low E side but in sanding it down, went too far. These saddles are 72 mm long. I just sanded a mm off of each end and it drops right in. Sat on the piezo just right. Perfect height and accomplished the goal. Good quality bone saddle. Slightly brighter sounding mids. Good buy.

Some guitars have a slightly narrower saddle requiring slight filing for a perfect fit. Others fit perfectly.

Easy to shape. Have an old YAHAMA guitar. Need to replace the bridge. Cannot find the replacement. Got these parts to reduce the thickness to .070 inches and half the height. It is easily done. Glad to have the old guitar working again.

Getting two of these is great. As I had to sand down the bottom to match the bight of the one I replaced, I in fact removed another 3mm. Then I allowed my strings to rest upon the bridge and used a sharpie to mark their location. I then used a triangular file to set my string seats. This guitar has always had a Smokey sound. Now it’s bright with no buzz and great resonance. The action is perfect for me. Great purchase.
