As a long time Professional Chef I'm picky about my equipment and one problem I run into are thinly gauged mixing bowls. This set of bowls doesn't have that problem. I was a bit concerned about the etched measuring lines but you can't feel them at all, so nothing is going to stick in that area. I'd definitely buy these again.

the lids do not fit perfectly so they cant close tight, but otherwise not bad, good sizes

The lids on two bowls are too small to fit and the third bowl the lid is to big and just lifts off, so none of them are air tight. Wouldn't recommend.
