Your cart is empty.MKM Big Hand Rollers (BHR) are deeply carved, have unique designs, and release well from clay and any soft medium. All MKM rollers are made from wood that is precision carved to make deep beautiful impressions. The rollers are also bevel carved, allowing them to release easily from clay. You simply roll the BHR roller with your hand across the clay or up the wall of a pot to create a beautiful pattern. Because of their smaller size and lightweight BHR rollers are perfect for rolling vertically up the walls of a thrown pot. BHR rollers also work great on slabs. The ends of the rollers are rounded to avoid a line along each side of the pattern. This allows patterns to blend. For long rolls, the MKM Roller Board can help create long smooth rolls and avoid knuckle bumps. MKM rollers are finished with tung oil to ensure durability over many years of use. MKM tools are easily cleaned with water and a soft toothbrush. The Big Hand Rollers are 4.75 inches long and 1.0 inches in diameter.

The wave flow big wood hand roller from MKM pottery is a reel hit for a beginner potter. I’ve never used rollers from this company before, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was just the right size and well made with a mesmerizing pattern. With careful placement and careful rolling, you can avoid the telltale line in the pattern when you roll end to end on a slab of clay. It made good clear clean impressions in the Clay. I’ll buy more hand rollers from MKM. In fact I ordered 4 more.

This roller is fantastic. My clay never sticks to it and the design is beautiful. I made a mug with the pattern rolled on it and using a celadon glaze, it looks great. I will buy more from this company.
